This is a great website! It has several backgrounds to choose from that tile seamlessly, and it also has a tool to show you how different text will look against each background. It has backgrounds organized by color and theme and includes themes such as:

This is the website from which I selected the background on this page.

Photoshop Tutorials

This is a link to Professor Moore's photoshop tutorials that we completed in class. These tutorials are very informative, and teach the user a lot about Photoshop using simple, easy to follow instructions. I am including this link because even if you do not want to learn about HTML, you can still complete these tutorials to learn about Photoshop. These are the same tutorials that I used to create the work in the Photoshop work section of this website.

HTML Help

This is a website I used a lot when I did not want to use my book as a reference for HTML code. Since HTML code can be a little tedious, sometimes it is good to have a handy reference to make sure that you get the syntax of everything correct. This website provides an excellent reference for syntax, is very easy to navigate, and is also very clean and easy to read. This website is very helpful when writing HTML and CSS code from scratch.

Web Colors

This is a website that is really helpful when designing your website. It has a list of colors that you can use in HTML code, and it also has information about how to insert HTML colors into your webpage, color theory, and color schemes. Although you can use Photoshop to determine the color code for any color, this website gives you color code options with more range than the acceptable color words (ie: ivory, green, darkgreen, etc.).
